We helped a school administrator from Dagenham secure significant compensation after a road traffic accident.
Michelle Miller, 49, from Dagenham, suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a car driving on the wrong side of the road in February 2019.
Ms Miller, who was employed at a primary school in Hackney, was walking to work when she suffered multiple life-changing injuries as a result of the driver dangerously overtaking another vehicle.
This included a brain injury that resulted in cognitive issues, symptoms of dizziness and loss of balance, as well as flashbacks, anxiety and low mood.
She has also suffered problems with her left knee, fractures to her pelvis and wrist, internal injuries to her left kidney, and was diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome in her left leg.
Ms Miller has returned to work after several months but only on a part-time basis.
Ms Miller said: "The accident has had a huge impact on my life. I now have a fear of speeding vehicles and I have lost the confidence to drive a car.
“I’ve also developed vertigo, which can impact my ability to sleep, and my mobility will never be the same. This one collision has been life-changing.”
