The Northern TUC Asbestos Support and Campaign Group is a partnership between the Northern TUC, trade unions, West View Advice and Resource Centre and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Individuals or loved ones who are suffering as a result of mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening, lung cancer or any other occupational cancer are supported by the group through free, confidential information, advice and assistance.
The group also helps those applying for welfare benefits or other financial support to cover health costs, independent legal advice and representation and information on other related services.
Since the Northern TUC Asbestos Support and Campaign Group’s inception in 2011, Thompsons has proudly campaigned alongside the group to raise awareness of the dangers of asbestos and give support to those affected by asbestos-related disease.
