Asbestos Awareness and Support Cymru (AASC) is a charitable organisation that provides help and support to people who are living with illnesses such as mesothelioma or asbestosis in Wales.
The organisation ensures that it can provide people in Wales affected by asbestos with the best integrated assistance possible by having contacts in the health, social care and legal professions in the statutory, voluntary and private sectors.
Thompsons has worked closely with AASC since its launch event at the Senedd in 2012.
The firm is a keen supporter of AASC’s annual Action Mesothelioma Day event and attends support group meetings and patient and carer days, where legal specialists can be of assistance to attendees. Thompsons has seen first-hand the amazing job which AASC does in supporting asbestos victims across Wales with a listening ear and bags of compassion.
