Jay is a Trainee Solicitor in the Employment Rights team based in Thompsons’ London office. He has a diverse practice, including discrimination cases, wrong and unfair dismissal cases, and trade union rights matters. Jay is passionate about achieving the very best for his clients in every single case.

Jay has several years of legal experience across a wide range of practice areas, including personal injury, inquests, inquiries, civil claims, judicial reviews, and crime. He has worked on a number of significant and high-profile cases including the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and civil claims; proceedings in relation to the tragic police shooting of Chris Kaba; and the Supreme Court case of W80 v the IOPC.

Jay joined Thompsons as a Trainee Solicitor in 2024, having spent several years working in other social justice law firms.

Jay is passionate about using the law to promote access to justice. He believes that enforcing the law through the courts is essential to protecting the rights of working people and trade unions.

Jay is also involved in supporting the international solidarity work of the firm.
