Sharon was pivotal in managing and developing the National Litigation Unit at Thompsons Solicitors, based in Stoke on Trent. She oversaw a large team of 50 lawyers and eight support staff, handling personal injury cases for trade union clients across England and Wales. Their casework encompasses many injuries, including work-related incidents, slips and trips, defective equipment, premises incidents, dog bites, falls from heights, assaults, and more.

She now pays an important role in the management of Thompsons’ fast track litigation and multi-track accident personal injury teams, covering the East and West Midlands.

With over 30 years of experience in the legal industry, Sharon ensures her team maintains its focus on delivering an efficient, top-quality, and streamlined service to clients who are injured. 

Her legal expertise is coupled with managerial acumen, providing leadership that supports and drives the unit's success.

Sharon started her journey with Rowley Ashworth, a law firm that merged with Thompsons in 1986. Initially based in the Birmingham office, she worked there for over 20 years before transferring to the Oxford office in 2009. 

Sharon successfully recovered substantial compensation for many claims resulting from workplace accidents, benefiting trade union clients in Oxfordshire and the South East Regions. In 2019, she took on the role of Regional Manager in Stoke on Trent. She transferred to the Birmingham Office in 2023.
